The raffle winner of a set of Giti ultra wide base tires at the recent GATS (Great American Trucking Show) has already become a customer.
Bassham Foods, which operates 42 tractors and 50 trailers out of Fort Worth, TX, won four 445/50R22.5 GDL633 FS drive tires in a random drawing at the Giti booth.
The fleet has typically run dual tires, but was so anxious to give the Giti wide base tires a try, they purchased wheels and two GSL229 FS steer tires to complement the drives.
Giti sales representatives will stay in close contact with Bassham Foods Transportation Manager Dan Arnold and servicing dealer Troy Willich, owner of Trailer Doctors, Inc., to evaluate the Giti tire performance and hopefully turn Bassham Foods into a long-term customer.
